As a kosher supermarket, Kosher Kingdom takes responsibility for the kashrut standards of our products. All food items are approved by the London Beth Din before reaching our shelves.
Since numerous certification symbols exist globally with varying levels of stringency, our dedicated mashgiach (kosher inspector) evaluates which items meet Beth Din requirements. The Beth Din maintains ongoing communication about product status changes and recalls affecting our inventory.
Customer Responsibility
Shoppers should verify individual products align with their personal kashrut standards. We encourage customers to check product labelling and certification marks.
Fresh Produce Supervision
A mashgiach visits our greengrocery section daily to check the deliveries, ensuring that only permitted Israeli produce is sold. Per London Beth Din guidelines, produce prone to significant infestation is not stocked in our fresh or frozen sections.
Maaser
The inspector takes maaser (ritual portion) from Israeli produce as required by Jewish law, so our customers can shop with confidence.
