Pulled Lamb Rollups
Method
- Pre heat oven to 180C
- Place onion and garlic in dish, place lamb on top.
- Pour over water / wine and then season with salt, pepper & garlic.
- Cover tightly and bake for 1.5-2 hours.
- Using a fork, or your hand if it’s cool enough, shred the lamb with the onions and garlic ensuring to remove any bone lumps of fat.
- Spread 1-2 tbsp Dijon mustard on a malawach round, cut it like a pizza into 8 pieces keeping it together still.
- Place lamb on top and roll into pastries from the outside in.
- Place on a baking sheet, and repeat for all malawach pieces.
- Brush over with egg, sprinkle with sesame seeds and bake for 30-40 mins.
- Serve with mustards, mint sauce or other condiments of your choice.

- 1 package Malawach – partially defrosted

- Lamb cutlets

- 1/4-1/2 cup white wine or water
- Dijon mustard
