Chocolate Chip Squares
Method
- Preheat oven to 180 C
- In an electric mixer beat the margarine and the sugars until creamy, about 2 minutes. Add the eggs.
- Gradually beat in the flour and baking powder. Then stir in the chocolate.
- Press batter into a cookie sheet and level it out.
- Bake on 180 C for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown. While cookie sheet is still warm cut into squares or sticks!

- 2 sticks margarine (8oz) or 1 cup oil
- 1 cup caster sugar
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 2 eggs – room temperature
- 3 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 – 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips or chocolate lentils
